Pugsley was a serial absconder. He could scale 1.5 metre fences, launch himself through windows or tunnel his escape routes. He crossed six lane highways, railway tracks and mooched along city footpaths, calling in at my places of work, study and play until he found me, where upon he would be content to lay down breath a deep sigh of relief and go to sleep.
